Join GLSI
GLSI is a community of teachers, scholars, practitioners, judges, librarians, and other professionals who care about global legal skills education — including legal writing and reasoning, legal argumentation, international legal research, legal English, clinical legal education, cross-cultural lawyering, and academic support for teachers and students.
Who can join
Membership is open to individuals who support GLSI’s mission. You may be involved in teaching or developing global legal skills, legal practice, judicial work, professional training, or other related activities — or your work may have an international or comparative dimension, for example through teaching international students, lecturing abroad, publishing for an international audience, building cross-border programs, participating in international projects, or presenting at or organizing international conferences. These are indications of a good fit, not hurdles to clear.
What membership offers
Members can take part in GLSI annual conferences, webinars and community activities; share knowledge and experience: get inspiration; and join the GLSI Circle community, our main channel for staying connected.
What we ask
We ask members to engage with the community in whatever ways their interests and time allow.
How to join
Complete the short application form. The Board responds within four weeks of receiving a complete application, and once your membership is confirmed, you will receive an invitation to the GLSI Circle community.
Membership is free of charge.
